Getting Better

This app is getting better with each update. Really needs ability sync with database like the older versions. Could use a pic added to the upper right area that is not used for anything. A pic of my toon always adds to the role-play experience. The iPad interface is awesome. Fine tuning is quite easy and versatile. Worth every penny to a gamer like myself. Keep it coming. Update: abilities from the themes do not add into the powers when their attacks are used, for example the Unseelie theme does not add the power of the shadow-wrought weapon.

Pretty but not the best

Very pleasing, but power listings are not functionally convenient in a scroll list at the bottom left. I would prefer a die roller to be added. In most use cases will be a char sheet replacement, but check the math against char builder. Very, very pretty, however.

Meh

Honestly dissatisfied was expecting to be able to click and go, and come to find out I have to enter EVERYTHING manually...I could have done that myself and imported it to a dozen free apps so when I pay $5 for an app Im expecting ez mode...still gonna use it but grudgingly

Good app; could be better if...

Items with powers should show up as power cards. Instead their powers show up as notes within the item in your inventory. So I have to hand-jam the powers as power cards, EACH and EVERY IMPORT. Has the idea of modules been proposed? When importing a character, perhaps each element (power cards, items, rituals, etc.) be a separate module that can be modified on its own. That way, you import and can make specific changes on an as needed basis without having to completely obliterate everything with each import.

Great App

I love this app! Ive been using it for several months and am not dissatisfied with my purchase. Its great for keeping track of multiple characters in one place. Yes, you have to manually type a lot of stuff in but you have to do that on the free apps and overall ease of use is not comparable. Its super easy to import characters as well as updating your import so that all your editing is saved. Also, the support staff are great. Ive emailed them several times with questions and have a,ways gotten an answer within a few hours and the problem was always solved.

Wonderful app

This app is simply phenomenal. I have no complaints. It functions great, looks beautiful, and its the only editable character sheet app on the iOS store. Would definitely recommend. Worth $5 easily.

Awesome App

But when ever I import a character a deleted power is there

Needs landscape orientation

Great app once you figure it out. A *detailed* instructions page on your website would be nice. Needs, needs, needs the ability to go landscape as opposed to portrait orientation.

Outstanding aid to managing 4e characters!

Okay, to get this out of the way, Im not the hugest fan of 4e, but I still enjoy playing it. What I hate doing when Im playing it is having to keep track of a billion statuses, ongoing damage effects, etc… This app made all of that easy. Works well on an iPhone, looks GREAT on an iPad. Truly the first app Ive seen that can replace a paper character sheet for me, and looks like a real sheet to boot on iPad. If you play a lot of D&D 4e and would like a better way to keep track of all the business going on, with all info you need right at your fingertips, Id go with this program. Its easily worth the price.

Enjoyable but...

I love this app, but it needs some more updates and bug fixes. Having trouble with the app adding extra bonuses to attack roll mods and ability mods. I ended up having include subtractions into the attack and anything but skills which is weird. Would also like a portrait feature.

Was great, needs major iOS 7 update

This is an amazing app, however the app is clearly not designed for iOS 7 yet. A lot of the UI looking very out of place. On the iPad version, there is no landscape support, and the app looks even worse. Please update, landscape support and fixing iOS 7 design would be fantastic! Devices: iPhone 5, iPad 3, both with iOS 7.0.4.

Simple and straightforward

This app looks great and seamless on the iPad. All the stuff you need to know is right at your fingertips. It calculates things quickly for you. You have to take the time to input a new attack, but once you do, its so easy to click it and see exactly what you need to add and whether or not you get implement damage. Worth every cent. However, I suggest it for the iPad as opposed to the iPod, as the smaller screen doesnt capture to simplicity of this app.

Doesnt feel complete

No landscape option, buggy- crashes occasionally, weapon damage calculator is a black screen... I would think these issues should have been fixed considering how long this app has been available. In summary, not happy with my purchase.

Clumsy to use

The interface is a bit hard to use if you are developing your character from scratch instead of importing it. Simple things like drop down lists rather than text fields would go a long way towards making this app more friendly.

This app needs an update

Itd be nice if it would list out things so I could choose them instead of me having to have a rule-book in front of me so I can copy and write it down in the app. It also lets you manually input anything as much as you want to. So my modifier can hit +30 at level 1 and the app wont care.

Works but with effort

The import method is a hassle. You have to upload at the authors site, which is in dire need of some bandwidth. Ive been trying for some time to get my updated character sheet uploaded. The app is alright, but miscalculated AC sometimes.

Cant have um all

This app is really cool, great concept, great foundation but I would love to see it smarter. Inputting everything in manually is not too bad, but the apps "brain" should have equipment, powers, racial features programmed in. I was under the assumption it would have those features, especially since I paid for it. My mace now does 3d20 and it wont yell at me. Yay!

Landscapeme

No landscape no 5 star. Otherwise, great app.

Decent program, but now abandoned

This was initially a mostly-decent program but seems to have been abandoned. Developer web site forum and blog has been abandoned and inaccessible for months, just returning HTTP 404 errors. Significant bugs in character import -- even basic ones, like D&D 4e essentials characters -- are present in things as basic as weapon attack bonuses. Character import frequently never appears on the tablet client, or takes multiple days to finally show up for use.

Not bad at all

One of the most faithful apps to a 4e character sheet. Id like to see a direct import from the DDI character builder (currently a two step process), but other than that it works great! I hope to see something similar from Cordax when 5e comes out later this summer!
